Wine lovers enjoy a great wine now and then. For example, the zinfandel red wine often stimulates the taste buds of the seasoned wine enthusiast.
In the heat of the summer, however, drinking wine can lose its zest. Not anymore.
July is National Ice Cream month, and wine lovers should be aware that zinfandel wines go just as well with ice cream, as they do with any other food. This may seem like a surprise to many, but alcoholic flavored ice cream is actually a favorite in many parts of Europe. Admittedly, wine ice cream is not so common in the United States, however there is increasing popularity for it as shown in the ice cream wine innovations of Mercer's Ice Cream. Try, for example, the White Peace Zinfandel ice cream.
