Good Wine For Charity

George Miliotes is a master sommelier who has partnered with a Napa winemaker, Thomas Peffer of Atalon Vineyards, to custom blend a limited allocation of 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon for the 2nd annual Artist Series Wine program at The Capital Grille.

This good wine is a lifetime vintage, as 2007 was a year when everything went perfectly with wine in California. Fewer than 1,000 cases of this wine were made, and $25 of the sale of every bottle will go to benefit Share our Strength's national hunger relief efforts. This charity group connects children in America with the nutritious food they need to lead healthy and active lives. Through their No Kid Hungry Campaign, they ensure that children in need are enrolled in effective federal nutrition programs. They also invest in community organizations and partnerships dedicated to ending hunger on the national, state and city level.
